Awash – Kombolcha – Hara Gebaya railway project in Ethiopia

Construction design of the railway bridges in the Awash – Kombolcha – Hara Gebaya railway project in Ethiopia. With a length of 400km of single electrified track the project includes more than 53 composite deck bridges and viaducts. The maximum viaduct length is 613.8m. To accelerate the execution on site by simplifying and reducing the amount of operations, the attained solution consists in a modular design with a limited number of prefabricated elements combined in different ways to solve all bridge typologies included in the Project.
