High Speed Railway Workshop Fuencarral II in Madrid. Spain

Construction design of a high speed railway workshop and an adjoining railway yard in the railway facility “Madrid Norte”. The workshop building is 420m long and 44.5m wide. The railway yard can fit up to 15 trains with lengths varying from 107m to 200m. Design includes track alignment, structural, MEP, road and utilities. BIM tools were used for the coordination and the development of the design of all technical disciplines (architecture, structures and MEP).
